The Farm
Paradise Percherons is located in the Dry Creek Valley of Montrose County. The farm is approx 100 acres total with 85 acres of grass hay, which is harvested 3 times during the summer. Our premium horse hay is fed to the 30 head of Percherons with more on the way. This quality hay is now available for purchase, see the for sale page for details. In the fall of 2002, construction began on the 12,000 sq. ft. barn for the show hitch. The barn is a reproduction of the mid-west style with hip roof and hay mown upstairs. The facility boasts 2 foaling stalls (14 x 22), and 6 box stalls (14 x 16) to comfortably accommodate our six-hitch team horses; tie stalls for eight, harness room, 2 wash racks, feed room, a full bathroom, and office. In its short existence, the barn of Paradise Percherons has become a local landmark. The building was designed to be practical and comfortable to the hitch. Some one is always around and visitors are encouraged to drop in for a tour. .............to choose our shared future. Copyright 2004 Paradise Percherons, LLC
